＊moonchildは白昼夢の中にいるような子のことを言うようです。西欧ではlunatic,lunacyなどの単語に見られるように月の満ち欠けが人間の狂気を生み出すと古来信じられていたようです。Moon Childは月に属する子、月に引っ張られている子みたいなイメージでしょうか。この歌は「白痴」の様な子の精神の中を歌っているようにも聞こえます。永遠の時間の中に住む子供。
